Fatigue tests on Lee-McCall prestressed concrete beams
After some millions of applications of very severe cyclic loading there was no sign of fatigue failure in either beams or anchorages; despite some tension cracking in concrete of beams, average ultimate load in static test was higher for beams which had been subjected to cyclic loading then for control beams which had not previously been loaded.
