Description of Connecticut Street Terminal Pier No 42, which has deck area in excess of 400,000 sq ft; designed for live loads of 700 lb per sq ft; approximately 853,700 bd ft of timber and 389,000 lin ft of piles treated with creosote, and 874,000 bd ft of timber with chromated zinc chloride.
