Beneficiation of spodumene rock by froth flotation
Spodumene rocks from six localities were studied; highly selective concentration was obtained in each case; difference in behavior of rocks disappeared after proper cleaning of mineral surfaces, after which spodumene could be froth floated from associated minerals by use of different reagents; variations in method; recovery of lithium bearing mica from tailing. (Cement Mill Sec) (See also Am Inst Min and Met Engrs -- Tech Publ (Min Technology) mtg n 1161 Feb 1940 9 p)
