Illustrated description of new bridge over Seine which carries 27-ft 6-in. roadway and two 9-ft 3-in. footways across river; piers are in mass concrete resting on heavy reinforced concrete raft; monolithic ribbed structure 448 ft long covers center span and projects 96 ft 6 in. towards bank on either side of piers; 2170 cu yd of concrete and 490 tons of steel were used.
