Survey of problems connected with calculation of air-conditioning loads is made, and deficiencies of methods and procedures currently in use for load estimation are listed; improved method which used actual weather data and periodic heat flow characteristics of building sections and takes heat storage capacity of internal structural elements into account; procedure is outlined for determining temperature rise of conditioned space, with under-capacity plant; accuracy of method is verified for specific case.
