Improved methods for calculating design temperatures
New winter plan is proposed which, while retaining advantages of presently approved Thom method, gives results which correlate better with levels of common use, especially in localities with high outdoor daily range; design variable of new summer dry bulb plan available for most localities, as means of determining levels of summer dry bulb temperature.
