In latest of 4 separate tunneling and lining projects completed in last 10 yr in Lima quarry of Nat Lime and Stone Co, new quarry area was connected with haulage system installed in older workings; design involved 330 ft long tunnel at quarry floor level under highway embankment; solid limestone was utilized for sidewalls, and arched roof lining of 10 gage Armco liner plates installed.
