Report on test program conducted by Kansas and Missouri State highway departments
Procedures followed and results obtained in driving and loading of 2 groups of 4 different types of piles; relative driving effort and pile lengths required was determined and bearing capacities of 4 types of bearing pile in friction obtained; it was found that comparative results obtained by using 4 types of friction could be quite different in types of soil different from those which were encountered at test location.
