Skin effect depends upon permeability of skin or sand face in well bore, radius of skin, and on reservoir permeability beyond radius of skin; these quantities can be evaluated by adapting equation derived by Hurst; equations are adapted and expressed in form convenient for purposes of reservoir limit test; effective well bore radius may be evaluated in terms of permeability and radius of skin.
