Natural daylight illumination -- Its relation to insolation
Of measured climatic elements, insolation, as measured by pyrheliometer offers best possibility of close correlation with natural illumination; study makes use of this fact by examining, statistically, daily relationship between 2 climatic variables; data used are for Washington, DC, and cover period from Apr 1953 to May 1954; high positive correlation of pronounced linear nature is shown to exist between daily values of natural daylight illumination and insolation.
