Urban motorway at Duisburg
City of Duisburg is carrying through major motorway project to ease flow of traffic in direction parallel to River Rhine; north-south motorway is designed as dual roadway for traffic speed of 80 km/hr; width of 25 m comprises 2 7.5-m wide 2-lane roadways flanked by surfaced shoulders, central reservation 4 m wide, and outer grass shoulders; 1824-m long Berlin Bridge stage is now under construction.
