Electrical resistivity of rocks in area 12 tunnels, Nevada test site, Nye county, Nevada
Techniques for measuring resistivity along tunnel walls and in horizontal drill holes were used in Area 12 tunnel complex at Nevada Test Site prior to Atomic Energy Commission's Hardtack Phase II test series during fall of 1958; results indicate that in future underground tests where amount of water in rock must be determined, resistivity measurements can be used to estimate water content, with only limited number of samples needed to check results.
