Highway relocation for Shasta Project
Details of bridge and viaduct construction and grading operations necessitated by relocation of 18 mi of Pacific Highway, U S route 99, around lake to be formed back of Shasta Dam; following standards were adopted; minimum radius of curvature is 700 ft on open, and 800 ft on blind curves; traffic lane width is 11 ft and gross width of graded roadbed is 32 ft.
