New method of reconditioning piers and piles; piers containing only 1 or 2% of decayed piling can be reconditioned without great expense, since single or isolated piles can be spliced individually; exceptionally strong reinforced concrete jacket is placed around good end of old pile and base of new pile section; automatic form seals itself at any depth above or below water; thus piles can be spliced foot or two below tide when necessary.
