Four 4-6-2 type streamlined oil fired express locomotives, for working international expresses on Iraq section of Baghdad Railway, built at Darlington Works of Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns Ltd; length oa 71 ft 9 1/2 in.; engines have 2 cylinders with 21 in. diam by 26 in. stroke; total wheelbase 35 ft; total evaporative heating surface 2184 sq ft; grate area 31:2 sq ft; tractive effort at 85% boiler pressure 31.080 lb; weight of engine and tender in working order 158 tons 17 cwt; oil tank capacity 1750 gal.
