A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
In procedure described, all units are converted to common unit, called unit layer, equivalent to 0.01 cu yd; it is considered that given volume of cement may be expressed in unit layers of voids plus unit layers of solids; formulas, tables and graphs presented; quantities of materials calculated by any method may be checked conveniently by this procedure.
