Decentralized trouble-location department of municipal telephone service in Amsterdam
Until middle of 1927 city of Amsterdam used incomplete centralized system by which recording registration and statistics of trouble were centralized, but investigation and testing were done from test desk at branch exchanges; from 1927 investigation and testing were done from centrally located test desk; system is outlined.
