Influence of Phosphatization and Finish on Electric Insulation of Steel Plates
As ferrous alloys phosphatized by author's method showed poor superficial conductivity for electrodeposition, electrical effect of phosphatization was investigated; voltage for rupture was lower (1/2 to 1/9), while insulation was much greater (10-100 times for dry, and more for moist plates) in phosphatized plates. (see also brief translated abstract in Chem. and Industry, vol. 49, no. 24, June 13, 1930, p. 511)
