Deformational behavior of circular mine shaft situated in viscoelastic medium under hydrostatic stress
Stress and displacement fields resulting from excavation of circular mine shaft in viscoelastic medium under hydrostatic stress are obtained by use of theory of linear viscoelasticity; consideration is given to two situations -- shaft without lining and shaft with elastic lining; equations describing deformation as function of time of wall of shaft without lining are evaluated for salt at several depths.
