New and specially-shaped interlocking concrete block was developed for use in shore protection; block is designed to be used in revetment-type seawall to reduce wave runup and overtopping, and scour at its base or toe; description of model investigations conducted on interlocking precast concrete block seawall, and results that show protection efficiency of units are presented.
