Tee-beam effect of roof sheeting
Tests were carried out to determine if roof sheeting acted in conjunction with rafter to form tee-beam effect; results showed that stress in sheeting was far less than would be reached in true compound section and appeared to depend more on number of fastening bolts than on actual width of sheeting used.
