Continuous billet mill built by Schloemann AG, Duesseldorf, West Germany, for Acieries Reunies de Burbach-Eich-Dudelange, SA, Esch-Alzette, Luxembourg, is described in detail and illustrated; it rolls 190 to 200 mm blooms of 40 to 100 kp/sq mm tensile strength steel into 80 or 60 mm square billets; for bloom sequence of 120 sec, throughput is 150 tph; at sequence of 90 sec, throughput is 200 tph.
