New roll-pass design of reducing mill for rolling of square tubes; application of new principle of constructing roll passes for deformation of round tubes into square shapes, in accordance with which reduction takes place across entire width of side of square, and not only in middle, has made it possible to improve rolling and shape-forming conditions in roll passes of reduction mill, and also to improve operational properties of finished square tubes; mathematical analysis required derivation of 22 equations.
