Structural design and properties of brick-sandwiched concrete pavements
Theoretical, laboratory and field investigations carried out to examine possibility of partial replacement of concrete by well burnt bricks in region of neutral asix of concrete pavement slab to obtain savings in costs; maximum possible theoretical replacement of pavement thickness by bricks for different thicknesses of pavement slab and consequent economy in overall costs of construction are also dealt with.
