Future quantity and quality of Colorado river water
Data are presented with respect to quantity and quality of waters of Colorado River and to nature and extent of developments underway; it is concluded that progressive depletions of natural flow of Colorado River by upstream developments will have little effect on total salt burden but pronounced effect in future on unit concentration of salts in river water available for use; chemical quality of waters of Colorado River must be expected to fall far below presently accepted standards.
