Tidal characteristics of two estuaries in Florida
Tidal characteristics of Waccasassa and Fenholloway River estuaries observed during 2-yr study period are presented and it is shown that there are differences in their mixing characteristics resulting from steepness of gradients and exposure to winds and tidal front.
