Evaporation reduction on large reservoirs
Methods of applying monolayer-forming chemicals and of conditions influencing development of aerial dispensing equipment are discussed; equipment developed by Utah State University for dispensing evaporation retardants in liquid and powder form from aircraft is described; applications were made to several large lakes in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and New Mexico; highlights of these aerial applications are examined.
