New Sevres bridge on Seine River, downstream from Paris
3-span bridge (79.5 m-35.0 m-79.5 m) is 30.0 m wide and carries 6 traffic lanes and 2 sidewalks; substructure consists of assembly of 12 longitudinal beams of height varying from 2.20 m on abutments to 4. 40 m on central supports; each beam consists of 3 prefabricated steel sections that were arc-welded on spot; deck is 17 cm thick seamless reinforced concrete covered with 2 cm asphalt layer.
