A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Study undertaken east of Berkeley, Calif, to determine if recognizable relation exists between landslide occurrence and slope exposure; 70% of landslides observed were found to occur on slopes with northerly and easterly orientation; it is suggested that exposure plays important role in determining on which slopes landslides are not likely to occur.
