A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Numerical analysis is presented for determining shape of strips, which, when assembled, form hyperbolic surface; boundary lines of strips are geodesics, which coincide with cables of constant tension in surface; procedure is iterative and is easily programmed; two numerical examples are given.
