Effect of mineral aggregate on concrete strength
Experimental data are provided for flexural, indirect tensile and compressive strengths of concrete mixtures, for special case when increase of maximum particle size takes place by addition of coarse, crushed stone to sand and gravel; concretes of various compositions were tested to study unit weight, slump, flow, and compressive, flexural and splitting strength at various ages; evaluation of test results.
