Application of wall cast in-situ for construction of pumping station; circular retaining wall 36 m diam 60 cm thick and 10 m deep was built in order to enable construction of underground pumping station in terrain with high water table level; wall trench was excavated by means of Soletanche rail-mounted mud drilling machines; after reinforcement has been placed, concreting was carried out under mud using plunging tubes topped with pouring funnel.
