A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Newly built reservoir with 200,000 cu m capacity is made up of parallepipedic tanks measuring 125×67 m, each comprising two superimposed compartments 8 m high each; top, intermediate, and bottom floors of tanks are constituted by double layer of orthogonal beams making up 4.50 m lattice; side walls are made of succession of secant arches with vertical generating lines; apron and bay walls are classical concrete, six sides and intermediate floor are prestressed concrete, columns are reinforced concrete.
