Durability of glass-fiber-reinforced plastics (GFRP)
Equations are developed for durability of GFRP in terms of durability or ultimate deformation of glass fibers under time-related stress; application to reinforced polyester bars tested with constant or variable load up to point of breaking; relations between tensile, compressive, and shearing strengths and cross-sectional shape of GFRP; results interpreted with respect to constructional applications.
