Radiation from reactor is decreased using concrete containing serpentine
Experiments of shielding properties of concrete filled with serpentine; compared with limonite concrete shielding properties of serpentine concrete are somewhat better with respect to neutrons; they are of same value with respect to γ rays but concrete has much higher temperature resistance and can be recommended for shielding up to 450 C.
