Model analysis of aseismic design of nuclear reactor building
Experimental study on response of nuclear reactor building under earthquake loading was done by model testing on random shaking table and field test by blasting to get data for aseismic design; in case basement is founded on firm rock, lobar modes with natural frequency of about 3 to 4 cps are predominant at container shell and outer concrete shield.
