Some new developments in asphalt pipe coatings
Research program for development of improved asphaltic type pipe coatings; specific areas are asphalt primers with improved mechanical bond strength and high resistance to disbonding from steel under cathodic protection, and coatings for high temperature service and extreme soil stress conditions; data from both laboratory studies and field surveys are given for cathodic disbonding tests.
