Effect of hydrostatic pressure on mechanical behaviour of materials
Triaxial testing machine was designed for studying mechanical behavior of materials under hydrostatic pressure; compression tests for materials like granite, sandstone, marble; tension tests for zinc, aluminum, titanium, zirconium and Mg-Al alloy; effect of hydrostatic pressure resulted in increase in ductility and in differential stress.
