High-capacity homogenizing storage piles of bulky materials
Illustrated description of Czechoslovak system which helps solve problem of unloading and storage of large quantities of bulk materials in port installations, storage piles of metallurgical and mining works, etc; storage pile has rectangular plan up to 90 m wide and 1000 m or more in length; piles have trapezoidal cross section and height of up to 20 m; pile is serviced, in principle, by loading conveyor for forming pile and bucket dredger for removal of material; storage pile is designed for supply of material by conveyor transport line from railway or ship unloading station, or directly from mine.
