A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Report on tests carried out on six triangular frames up to 10 ft span and on three small Warren trusses; large triangular frames were constructed of 3 in.×1 1/2 in. R.S.Js which were not heat treated with view to determining whether previous analysis could be applied to this type of framework; Warren trusses were all made from same batch of bars and were identical in shape to determine scatter in collapse loads; tests prove applicability of theory.
