Plant constructed in Palm Beach, Fla, to build up denuded beach; erosion was caused by former construction of rock jetties; plant is two story reinforced concrete structure with 30 ft movable suction hose boom; lower floor contains 400-hp dredge pump and motor and power transformer; upper floor holds pump controls; dredge pump can handle up to 15% solids at efficiency of better than 60%.
