Description of system consisting of double row of 6000-lumen lamps, carried 20 and 17 ft above roadway, which throw light directly on roadway every 150 ft in 15 mi stretch from Washington to Mount Vernon; light locations at intersections, circle, terminal loop etc.; foundation for metal standard; separate transformer vault of precast concrete located underground at each cedar-pole light standard.
