Porous light-weight concrete for long-span floors
Construction of 9-story steel-frame apartment at Fleetwood, N Y, panels up to 3 × 19.80 ft were designed on laboratory tests that showed deflection of 1:36 under load of 316 lb per sq ft: special concrete poured to depth of 3 1/2 in. rose to 7 1/2 in. in setting; log of test of light-weight concrete panels.
