Cement-making materials from Nyasaland
Report on investigation of calcareous and argillaceous materials from Lake Malombe; preparation of raw mixtures suitable for burning to portland-cement clinker is possible by grinding finely certain clays sampled from lake bed; resulting cement would comply with 1925 British Standard Specifications for portland cement; other samples yielded good natural cement and hydraulic lime.
