Plane turbulent reattached wall jets
Experimental study of diffusion of plane turbulent jet issuing from nozzle situated over abrupt drop in bed of rectangular channel, under deep submergence, is presented; characteristics of reattached wall jet, after reattachment line, have been investigated in detail regarding similarity of transverse velocity distribution, velocity and length scales, and bed shear stress distribution; some characteristics of eddying region have also been studied.
