Formulas are derived for calculating depth of air curtain and air velocity required at floor level in terms of door and room heights, difference between inside and outside pressure and specific gravity of air, wind velocity, curtain air flow velocity, angle of curtain flow, and other parameters; formula is also given for determining required velocity of air stream at outlet as function of door height.
