Ultimate design of reinforced concrete thin shells with double curvature
Analysis of shells on rectangular plane in plastic field consists in computing expressions of internal energy dissipation in continuous zones and yield lines and in comparing it with external energy dissipation to obtain upper bound of collapse load; lower bound is obtained by finding statically admissible solution; plastic collapse problem is solved in case of shallow shell with sliding and fixed bearings on square plane.
