Investigations carried out by Swedish State Concrete Committee at four Swedish laboratories to determine consequences of replacement of cubes 20 cm in side length by cubes 15 cm in side length; characteristics of testing machines used in tests and measurements of deformations of platens during tests; effect produced on compressive strength by variations in relative humidity of air during storage of test specimens after curing, by deep scratched marks on test specimens, and by removal of coarse aggregate larger than 32 mm in size separated by sieving.
