Accelerated strength testing of concrete using boiling method
Investigation is based on test results for concrete from three different construction projects, supplemented by additional laboratory mixes; more than 100 concrete batches, comprising 1245 test cylinders 6 by 12 in., were tested; aggregates were used in graded sizes; modified boiling method used for accelerated curing of test cylinders is outlined; analyses were confined to relationships between accelerated and standard 28 day strength; plots of test results are shown.
