Calculation of ultimate tensile stress of reinforced concrete vaults
Problem of measurement of stress of surfaces with double sweep in reinforced concrete; analysis supports classical theory of limit states of rigid-plastic continuity, assuming diffused condition of plasticity for concrete and calculating independently inner dissipations of concrete and of reinforcement; limit states are defined for segmental vaults that are flattened on regular polygonal plane, sides shaped according to paraboloid of revolution, subject to uniform stress, and for depressed cylindrical vaults with rim beams; numerical applications. (p 83-100, p 167-87)
